Over the summer, Taranaki Golf membership grew to 5,130, up from around 4,800 at this time last year. A huge congratulations to all the clubs for creating such a welcoming environment that more people are getting involved in the sport. This includes 579 junior men and 82 junior women, which highlights the need for us to keep working towards making our clubs more appealing to younger players, especially young women. We've kicked off a new campaign on our social media channels to promote the game to everyone, with a special focus on encouraging young women to get involved. If you haven't already, be sure to follow us on both Instagram and Facebook. Not only does this help us stay connected, but it also showcases the great work we're all doing to grow and support the game of golf.
