Player performances will be monitored throughout the season, with particular emphasis on the following key events:

Players are strongly encouraged to compete in as many local and national events as possible to demonstrate form, competitiveness, and commitment.

Additional Selection Considerations

  • Results from other Taranaki and national tournaments
  • Previous performances in Taranaki Representative Teams
  • Ability to contribute positively within a team environment
  • Demonstrated desire and commitment to represent Taranaki
  • Attitude and conduct both on and off the course
  • Appropriate fitness and physical preparedness
